I just spent whole evening building a new avatar look. Clothing looks like the most problematic part for me, but hey, it is no different in real life… Now it is possible to export the new avatar into a gif animation. For free at Evolver! Here’s a sample what I got out of it:
Textures for all seasons and all uses. Find fabric, fashion, floor tiles, glass, stone and more. Replace your worn out and tired textures or discover new patterns here. Suitable for realXtend, Second Life and Opensim – at least. Found this excellent package from the Second Life community pages.
This is already an old package from Torley, but still very much valid. Contains over 600 awesome textures – and the best thing here is that you are free to use them on your commercial products. Torley wishes you don’t sell them to anyone as is. Here’s the original blog entry link.
Need a reliable, unlimited traffic and unlimited disk space web hosting? I have found it. Rexxed.com and all my other web sites run on it and I never got a single complain from them for using sometimes massive amounts of resources. You will also get a free domain name of your selection.
To avoid the trouble of shaping, watering and repotting your next bonzai, consider taking a shortcut. Get this beauty at no price and plant it to your cybergarden now!
A classical topiary to beautify an alley or an entrance. Can be seen at Cyberbohemia Botany on Osgrid. See flickr page.

A prim with a Klein bottle generator, and a Klein bottle. The Klein bottle is a single object, has 2889 linked prims (!!!), glows, and slowly rotates along its Z axis. Here’s an article giving more information: 2889: Working with very large linksets in Opensim
Includes many man-made and natural objects. For example trees and even a forest as a single object! Perfect companion to the builder ready realXtend server 0.4.
Carson Raw Designs Real World Geo Key West. Awesome dunes with gradual beaches. Some distortion is expected when fitting a real world location into a 256×256 sq meter sim.

This is a budget terrain (Look at the price!) that has many potential uses. Combine this with another terrain, Watery islands with a lake to get a nice combo for your Opensim or realXtend world. I am planning to take this into use myself and start by building some bridges first for those visitors who don’t like flying. The big island makes a good meeting place for my purposes.

When I started my Second Life journey, I made some avatar shapes that I felt were important for Virtual Worlds somehow. Trinity (Carrie Ann Moss) from Matrix is definitely one of them. Here’s the shape for you, if you end up doing better, please contribute back for everyone! Also, take a look at Neo.
Evolver is a free web based tool to create new avatars, complete with hair and clothes. And the system is so easy to use that even I get decent results! Take a look at my snowcrash-girl.

An awesome and huge (over 600) pack of free public domain textures by Torley. Works for virtual worlds, especially for Opensim, realXtend and Second Life.
Specially made for in world meetings, this huge pillar rises straight from the water, giving a nice view all around. On top of the pillar, the flat area provides a plenty of space for your builds and meeting facilities.
